How to read the result
Keyword frequency is a clue, not a target
Older SEO advice often treated keyword density like a number you could hit and then move on. Real pages are more complicated. A service page needs the main phrase, related language, product names and the natural vocabulary customers use when describing the problem.
This checker counts a word or phrase in the text you paste. It is useful for catching accidents, such as repeating the same phrase in every other sentence, or discovering that a page barely mentions the topic it claims to answer.
How to use the percentage
There is no magic density that guarantees a ranking. Read the text aloud. If the phrase sounds forced, reduce it. If the page never clearly says what it is about, strengthen the subject and service language. Good writing should survive even when the keyword is removed from your view.
For service pages
Use the main phrase where it genuinely helps: the title, opening explanation, a relevant heading and supporting copy. Then focus on the customer’s problem, the work involved, the proof you have and the next step.
